Advance Eid Mubarak!

So, I probably won't be able to log into blogger due to the busyness in midst of preparing for Hari Raya Aidilfitri so...........

HAPPY ADVANCE EID MUBARAK to everyone tomorrow! :D
Anyway, when all of us are busy enjoying ourselves, please don' forget to remember and think about all the children who won't be able to enjoy this victorious day in Gaza, Somalia and more. I hope all of us would be able to offer them our most sincere prayers and I am sure they will be more victorious in the hereafter (:
Allah is always with us, He is Most Fair and Most Merciful.

What I want to be?

السلام عليكم
So yesterday, I was busy thinking about my future career that I intend to undertake after my A levels. Initially, I wanted to become a journalist for Channelnewsasia & stuff but then I realise that the the job of a news broadcaster/journalist in Asia is pretty much boring. Certain news are being censored (for my country) & when I look at the news pages from the other countries, they tend to give you a much broader and wider outlook about what is happening around the world. What is this? As people, we do have the right to know what is going on around the world so that we can know what is ACTUALLY happening & so that we can know the TRUTH instead of making us oblivious to crucial issues around the world. If I really get to fulfil my aspiration of becoming a journalist, I would definitely work for Al-Jazeera English. This is because they really reveal to you the truth about what is currently occurring aound the globe and not only that, they even post videos so as to really show you what is really taking place first-hand. Unlike the images or pictures taken, they can be bias/ intended as a form of propaganda so videos are still the best (: Also, Al-Jazeera's reporters get to go directly to the country to report about the stuffs happening and isn't that super cool??!! For instance during the Arab revolution, Al-Jazeera reporters will go to let's say, Syria and broadcast live there with all the rioters and protestors. Despite the bombings and shootings, they will still proceed to their reporting area and carry on with their duties. I mean, of course it is dangerous but what is life without risks right? hahaha. Actually, I would rather work to convey the truth to people even if there is a chance of risking my life so long as the people know who's the bad and the good guy.

My second option would be to wok as a human rights activist. Right now, I feel strongly for all the people in the world who are currently being subjected to oppression such as the Libyan people, Somalians, Palestinains and more.I really want to help but because I don't have the power to do so right now as I am merely just a student, i shall maybe wait until I am older enough to fulfil this. I really want to help them by making their voices heard, by showing them that "Hey, look there are a lot of people here who are supporting you, so please don't be sad. We are always with you." I really wish to help the children of Gaza or the children of Somalia maybe in the future I might consider working for UNICEF or other humanitarian organizations to help these children, InsyaAllah. Maybe, I might consider working as an activist for women's rights too to help protect women around the world who are frequently being abused by men. Especially, since I am learning about Women in Literature, there is a more urgent need for me to look into this matter. Haha.

Hmmm, wow soo many dreams and aspirations I have! Still, I have many obstacles to go through first before being able to achieve them: A levels, my mum and dad (haha I bet they won't allow me to work such kind of jobs! :P) et etcetera. However, I strongly believe that no matter how high you hopes and dreams are, don't ever let anyone hinder you from achieving them because ultimately, you know who you really are deep down inside. No one else understands your true self. I still remeber my favourite quote! -"reach out for the stars, even if you fall, you will land among the clouds" :D hell yeahhhhhh.

Question.

Why do I always feel sad all the time?

Hopeful.

السلام عليكم
As Hari Raya Aidilfitri begins to make its way, Ramadhan will then be gone, just like the wind. To be honest, I feel quite sad actually with the fact that Ramadhan would be slowly leaving us. To me, I must say that Ramadhan 2011 was the BEST Ramadhan I have ever had in my whole entire life. I feel that I have really change for the better compared to who I was previously. Initially, I was this kid who had no real identity. I was constantly drifting, shifting from one identity to the next in search for my true self. The real me. During my previous Ramadhans, I have to really say from deep down my heart, that I didn't even care to pray properly or take the initiative to learn and to accumulate the love for my religion, Islam <3 Now, it had really opened up my eyes, to see the true beauty of Islam & Ramadhan. I really hope that this change would not happen only during Ramadhan, I really hope that Allah can guide me to become a much better person than who I am now. (I am actually crying when typing this :'( ) i hope that I can still meet Ramadhan again next year, I really hope :(

I don't actually feel the vibes to celebrate Hari Raya this year. I have no idea why. I think it is due to the exmaination period & my mind is just too exhausted mentally from all the thinking. Sigh. Anyway, these days the weather is so cooling & lovely, & during these nights 1 of them would be the night of Laylatul Qadr which is better than 1000 months (MasyaAllah).

For me, I think the greatest gift from Allah to me during this Ramadhan would be His permission to allow me to achieve this glorious, victorious night and if that ever happens. . .
I would just cry & I love Allah SWT very much. Oh Allah I hope You won't leave me :( I hope that You would not allow me to deviate away from Your Light of Truth.

Dear Muslims, please make full use of the last days of Ramadhan. Who knows that this would be your last time celebrating Ramadhan :'(

Question.

Why do I always feel sad all the time?

Someday I will understand. .

Sometimes I wonder, during the month of Ramadhan, Muslims are required to fast & so are the Somalians.
But if they were experiencing famine now with shortage of food to eat, then how do they break their fast? What do they eat? :(

Guess who's back? (:

السلام عليك
Hey i'm back finally! So today was my last paper and it was on Southeast Asian history and sadly, I wasn't able to do 1 essay which was worth 25 marks due to time constraints :( Well, chances are my expectations and desire of getting an A or a B for history will be diminished.
Finally, I am able to log on to my computer without having to use my hp to log into facebook! After 2 long, dreading weeks I am now able to break free from my stifled, constricted role as a student. I have to say that what's left now is to pray and hope for the best so that I would be able to attain commendable results. I must admit, I did put in my best effort (except for econs paper 1 & lit) so I will willingly surrender myself to Allah's decision.

Moving on, I just want to say that nowadays I am so caught up and obsessed (ok wait, no, i'm not obsess. Just too overwhelmingly concern) with the Palestinian-Israeli issue. I have no idea why but I think it is due to the fact that I am studying international hisotry & that one of my most favourite topics for IH would be the Arab Israeli conflict. Sometimes, when I watch the videos of the Palestinians, I feel sooooooooooooo saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad that I will start crying (ok it's a secret, no one knows :P). I mean they are so innocent and why must the stupid Jews come and take away their land??!! Firstly, they have come to conquer the land of Palestine. Secondly, they impose their stupid policies onto them just so as to fight away the Hamas. Thirdly, if the Israels want to enforce military repression onto the Palestinians, come on laa pick someone with their own capabilities and standards laa! Isn't it an unfair conflict when Israel has the support from USA while the Palestinians have nothing except to rely on their own people to liberate Palestine? That is why the Hamas rose. Who can they depend on when it is not for Hamas????? Sorry, if I'm being sensitive but I guess this conflict had made me a little bit disillusioned and deeply saddened at how the world is in fact a nasty place to live in.

Hmmm, try watching these videos and the most recent news from Al Jazeera (below), maybe you would be able to sympathise with me, I hope. :(

Hais, I feel so useless and I think I am a useless, inhumane being. I don't know how to help them seriously. I really2 want to offer my money and donate but I don't have any money now :( I can just afford to give them my prayers. Palestine will be free one day, Insya Allah (':
